I appreciate you taking the time to read a little bit about me.
I was born in Troy, New York with a plastic spoon in my mouth… and after graduating High School, I took a couple years off to decide the next chapter in John F. Sawyer’s life. All it took was one comment from my Grandmother to set me straight, she told me “the one thing no one can ever take away from you is your education” which is absolutely true. A handful of years later, I was a college graduate.
After graduating from SIENA College with my Bachelors in Accounting, I packed up my car and drove 2,999 miles from my Mom’s house in NY, to Portland, Oregon where I’ve been ever since. I immediately fell in love with Portland, but how could you not?
My first job in Portland was with UPS, as an Account Executive. The position involved me travelling the western half of Oregon winning over new business. I couldn’t have asked for a better beginning to my life in Portland, and being paid to see this beautiful state was just an added bonus. “But what else is out there for me?” I asked myself… so I left Big Brown for a career I could really wrap my hands around, Mortgages. Back in 2000 the rules were a bit different than today, but my goal from day one has remained the same… “Write a loan that I’d write for my Mother”… and I believe that’s what’s kept me successful.
My strength is with the numbers and showing my clients the big picture. “Payment” is not the reason for a refinance, “Benefit” is, and I’ll take the time to show you (as many times and ways as necessary) what the true benefits of refinancing with me are.
